BUCCAL MASSAGE IN TIGARD

Release the tension you hold in your face

Buccal massage gently works the muscles of your face and jaw from both inside and outside the mouth. It softens clenching, eases tension, and leaves your face looking lifted and refreshed.

One treatment, whole-body relief

TMJ & Jaw Relief

Our therapist holds advanced dental buccal massage training, with specialized work for TMJ, jaw clenching, and trigeminal nerve tension. She reaches the jaw muscles regular massage can't, helping them finally let go.

The Natural Facelift

Buccal massage lifts and sculpts from the inside out, softening fine lines, marionette lines, and puffiness for a refreshed, rested look with zero downtime.

Neck & Shoulder Ease

Tension in your jaw rarely stays there. Releasing it can ease the chronic tightness that travels into your neck and shoulders.

Pelvic Floor Connection

Your jaw and pelvic floor are closely linked, and tension in one often shows up in the other. Many clients find that letting go in the jaw helps the whole body soften.

YOUR SESSION

What to expect

Your session begins with gentle lymphatic drainage from the collarbone up, then moves into the face. Using gloved hands, your therapist works both outside and inside the mouth to reach the deeper muscles of the cheeks and jaw, and finishes with soothing work on the face and scalp. Most clients leave feeling lighter, looser, and deeply relaxed.

"This was my first buccal massage and I didn't realize the difference it would make in releasing tension in my jaw and neck. The therapist was wonderful. I highly recommend SolVita and checking out the buccal massage!"

Good to Know Before Your Buccal Massage

It can feel intense in spots, especially where you hold a lot of tension, but most clients describe it as a “good hurt.” Your therapist checks in throughout and adjusts the pressure so you stay comfortable.

Does buccal massage hurt?

Can buccal massage help with TMJ and jaw tension?

2

Yes, this is one of the main reasons clients come in. Our therapist has advanced dental buccal massage training, with specialized work for TMJ, jaw clenching, and trigeminal nerve tension.

Many clients notice a looser jaw and a lifted, refreshed look after their first session. Results build over time with regular visits.

3

When will I see results?

Everyone is different. Many clients start with monthly sessions, then space them out for maintenance as their results last longer. After your first session, your therapist will recommend a rhythm based on your goals, your body, and how long your results hold.

How often should I come in?

4

Yes! We welcome clients 14 and up, and buccal massage pairs well with orthodontic work. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian's signature, and parents are welcome to stay in the room.

Is buccal massage okay for teens?

5

Is there anything that would keep me from booking?

6

We're unable to book a session within 4 weeks of Botox or within 6 months of a facelift or thread lift. If you're unsure about your timing, just ask and we'll help you plan your visit.
